Dr Ramaswamy is a consultant in Pathology with 15 years of experience in laboratory administration and medical education.

He has a special interest in quality management systems in healthcare sector with focus on medical laboratories. He is a trained assessor for the ISO 15189:2012 standards for medical laboratories and has successfully led the team through 3 consecutive NABL accreditation cycles in a medical college laboratory.He has successfully guided MD Pathology students in their research and academic activities.

As an assistant accreditation coordinator for NABH and an active member of the Quality and Medical Audit Committees for his institution, he has contributed to the improvement of hospital wide standards in patient care with focus on patient safety and quality. He has efficiently contributed towards the successive renewal of the NABH accreditation for his institution.
Dr Ramaswamy has more than 50 publications in various national and international journals. He takes part in the design and review of the clinical studies and the publications of such studies conducted.
